Our Founder, Dr. Randall W. Murphy, envisions a school filled with men and women from every background, community, and nation who are committed to God and passionate about fulfilling His purpose for their lives. His dream is to prepare believers to become effective leaders, servants, teachers, and disciples who will influence positive change in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.

The Institute of Discipleship began with a single course—Homiletics—taught by Dr. Murphy himself. From those humble beginnings, the Institute has grown to offer a variety of courses taught by gifted and experienced instructors from diverse ministry backgrounds. Each course is designed to strengthen your understanding of God’s Word while providing practical tools for effective Christian living and ministry.

We believe that biblical knowledge produces confidence, and confidence empowers effective ministry. As you grow in your understanding of Scripture, you become better equipped to serve others, fulfill your calling, and faithfully represent Christ wherever He leads you.
